TBM Racing Kawasaki Ultra 250X/LX Tunable Ride Plate

We are excited to release the most revolutionary ride plate this industry has ever seen. Our Ultra ride plate is truly “Tunable” with a built in trim tab that automatically drops when you turn the handlebars. The neutral position is tunable by adjusting the trim tab linkage with a simple turn of a wrench.

You no longer have to choose between a ride plate designed for top speed that doesn’t turn well, or a plate that compromises speed for handling. Our plate gives you the highest top speed possible (over 2 mph on a stock Ultra) with the precise handling of a Pro caliber race ski.

A separate handlebar mounted trim lever override is available to activate the trim tab manually when desired.

When the 2008 Yamaha Superjet was released we were chomping at the bit to get our hands on one and start developing the ultimate ride plate for this exciting new ski. At first glance you may think we simply adapted our SX-R or Hydrospace ride plates to the new Yamaha, but that is far from the truth. We had to start from a clean sheet as the unique hull design coupled with the relocated pump made it challenging to find the best combination of speed, handling and straight line tracking. You will notice two features when glancing at this plate, the unique stepped tail and the four triangular holes in the middle of the plate. Both of these features coupled with a narrow tail and the TBM dual concave design make this plate a winner for any riding situation.

Available for the 2008 or ’96 – 2007 model Superjets.

Introducing the most adjustable rear sponsons on the market for your Kawasaki Ultra 250X or Ultra LX. Several unique design features separate our sponsons from the competition. Our backing plate is a two piece design constructed of 6061 billet aluminum and allows you to adjust the sponson closer, or further away from the hull dramatically affecting the handling characteristics of your Ultra. The backing plates are not just a mounting pad for the sponson blade, they are designed to create lift and reduce friction once up on plane with our stepped design which increases speed and gives the blade more bite in the corners. Our blades also incorporate a stepped design and have 12 different mounting positions giving you an infinite amount of adjustment. A race inspired billet aluminum washer prevents the sponson blade from flexing under the most extreme conditions.

Our research and development team came up with this unique concept of having a fully tunable scoop grate to give the rider an infinite amount of handling options. If the water is flat you can raise the center foil to the highest position and gain .5mph, or remove the foil completely and have the same speed as the stock grate. The deeper center bars and removable rear inlet chip vastly improves handling and hook up. The center foil has three positions or can be removed entirely. The rear inlet chip can be removed or used with or without the center foil. Whether you're a closed course or offshore racer, or just a weekend warrior our Super Scoop will enhance the hook up and handling of the already impressive Ultra 250X or LX.

This is not another revised 750 SXI intake, it's designed to enhance the handling characteristics of the SX-R and correct its one inefficientcy, which is keeping the pump hooked up in hard corners. The Super Scoop™ keeps the pump loaded when the ski is on edge as is the case in hard cornering. We also treat each intake with a corrosion resistant coating rather than the typical (cheaper) ball burnished finish that quickly corrodes when exposed to salt water. Used at the 2003 World Finals by Tim Bushman and Factory Kawasaki, they have been widely accepted as one of the few bolt on handling components for the SXR that actually work. Constructed of 6061-billet aluminum and use stainless steel inserts they come complete with all necessary hardware and instructions. Tim Bushman states, “At first glance these look like a very simple part, but we put extensive hours of testing into every aspect of the sponsons. I guarantee that the knock off’s that will become available will overlook some very critical details.”

Our "Klipper Signature Series" ride plate is the same proven design that we have had available since 2006 with the Klipper’s personal tricks to make it even better! A simple yet subtle change is very noticeable when pushing your Hydrospace to its limits. We added four triangular windows in the sides of the plate to allow water to enter and pass over the top of the plate when entering corners giving the ski added grip without sacrificing speed.
