We are proud to introduce our first product for the incredible Kawasaki Ultra 250X/LX.   We set out to build the ultimate offshore steering system incorporating several unique features to enhance the ergonomics of your Ultra.   Our fully adjustable design features a dual tubular steering head for rigidity and function.   Almost 2" of vertical adjustment and four handlebar positions allow you to truly tailor your cockpit to your personal preference.   In the fully extended position with standard rise bars our steering is 4.5" taller than stock and positions the rider reward on the ski lightening the nose.   We designed the bar clamps to accommodate any popular 1 1/8" bulge bars to offer superior strength during offshore competition.   The aggressive recreational rider will also enjoy the precision feel of our steering system.   The upper steering head utilizes the OEM lower pivot making installation a breeze and saving the expense of an elaborate lower assembly.   For those hardcore riders that have to have the trickest steering on the market we will offer a sealed bearing lower assembly in the future that will be compatible with this steering head.   For those who simply want a fully adjustable steering system to replace the bulky OEM tilt mechanism this system will be everything you dreamed of.

TBM Racing Kawasaki Ultra 250X/260X/UltraLX Tunable Ride Plate Trim Override Kit

We’re excited to release our Ultra Ride Plate Trim Override Kit for those riders wishing to manually control the trim tab on our Ultra Ride Plate. This kit comes with everything you need except the actual lever. Any motorcycle clutch lever or trim lever will work with our kit. We will release our own trim lever very soon, but we did not want to delay the release of this kit for those riders and racers anxious to take advantage of this system. The innovative design of this kit uses a simple cable to actuate a linkage arm that makes two or even one finger operation at full throttle a piece of cake. Just like all TBM parts the quality, design and innovation that went into this kit is bar none.

Introducing the most advanced Personal Watercraft Steering System ever released to the public.   No corners were cut in designing this steering system, as we decided our customers deserve the very best system we could possibly design to mate with our popular adjustable upper steering head.   Several unique features are incorporated into our Sealed Bearing Steering System that separate us from the competition such as using an interlocking bearing housing that is bolted rather than welded into place eliminating any concentricity issues.   Another industry first is the use of angular roller bearings with pressed in races rather than a cheap cartridge bearing.   These bearings are similar to those used in high strength steering assemblies on street and dirt motorcycles that support the entire front end of the bike.   Proper preload can be obtained without causing the bearings to bind or become notchy.   We also use an actual seal in place of an o-ring to keep water and sand from penetrating the bearings.   An adjustable linkage arm gives you an infinite amount of steering ratios to meet your personal preference.   The off power steering sensor is obtained.   Our lower steering assembly is designed to be used with our adjustable upper steering head to provide the most durable and functional Ultra steering system on the market.

TBM Racing Kawasaki / Yamaha / Polaris Sealed Bearing Steering System

Introducing the most superior steering system ever developed for a stand-up watercraft.   Designed for a Kawasaki / Yamaha / Polaris stand-up our system will eliminate all of the problems associated with the current systems on the market such as frequent loosening and slop inherent to the design.   Our system is CNC machined from billet aluminum and stainless steel. Our stud is then heat treated to increase strength and eliminate the chance of failure during extreme freestyle maneuvers. We utilize two high quality thrust bearings and Quattro Seals to eliminate friction and slop while keeping the elements from contaminating the bearings.   We addressed the problem of the nut loosening by machining a threaded split collar that allows you to lock the position and preload you desire.

Must use our Kawasaki (TBM102), or Yamaha (TBM102-Yam) Turn Plate with this system.

Introducing the most superior handlebar ever made for a personal watercraft. We are proud to be the only handlebar manufacturer to manufacture 100% of our handlebars in the USA giving us complete control over quality and manufacturing tolerances. When all of the other bars manufacturers have sold out and have taken the easy way out to producing “cheap” bars we have refined our in house manufacturing to give our customers the highest quality bar possible at a competitive price.

We use T6 aircraft aluminum, and then CNC knurl each bar before CNC bending them to exact tolerances. Another superior quality of our bars vs. the competitors is our crossbars and crossbar clamps are manufactured from 100% billet aluminum whereas they are using extrusions or castings with minimal CNC work to bore holes and provide a “billet” look without truly making them from a solid chuck of billet alloy. Our method not only produces the trickest looking bar on the market it also provides a much stronger handlebar that will last you a lifetime. Our knurling will accommodate ODI grips and is aggressive enough for those who prefer to glue their grips on.

We offer our bars in straight freestyle, 0 degree v-bend and 3.5 degree v-bend. The straight freestyle bars come in black only while the v-bend bars are available in black anodized or show quality polished. Support our US economy and buy TBM quality!

Note: If purchasing the Freestyle Straight bars you will need our new Kawasaki/Yamaha Conversion Turn Plate, or for Yamaha riders the Yamaha Shortened Turn Plate. Only the new generation TBM turn plates have the extra set of machined holes to accommodate these bars.

Ultra 250X/LX Adjustable Offshore Steering System Riser Tubes

We now offer our Adjustable Offshore Steering System in two heights.   We have the standard offshore riser tubes that allow you to stand in a more relaxed position and our new closed course risers that are 3" shorter for a more aggressive riding stance.   You can specify which tubes you prefer when ordering the complete system, or you can buy the riser tubes separately to have both options on race day.   Both options still maintain 2" of vertical adjustment.

TBM Racing Steering System Locking Nut

We have had many requests from customer's that would like to improve their UMI Steering System's to purchase our locking nut.   We have finally decided to offer them separately for those who do not want to upgrade to our Sealed Bearing Steering System.   You cannot have all the advantages of our steering system without actually purchasing the kit, but you can now have one of them.

Kawasaki / Yamaha Conversion Turn Plate (-1")

Introducing a simple yet effective part designed to move the rider forward in the tray for a more aggressive riding position. If your tired of having to choose from three steering pivot positions, we've got your fix providing an infinite amount of adjustment from subtle to aggressive and anything inbetween.

TBM Racing Kawasaki OEM Replacement Turn Plate
(Compatible with '92 - '02 750SX/SXI/SXI Pro and '03 - '06 SX-R 800)

Introducing our OEM replacement turn plate for the 750 and 800 Kawasaki stand ups.   Our turn plate has many unique features including two handlebar positions giving the rider an option depending on conditions and riding style.   In addition you have the option of using our replacement stud that allows you to relocate the turn plate an inch forward from the stock location.   Combining the two options gives you slightly over 1.5" forward from stock.   The same slotted quicksteer feature used on our Kawasaki/Yamaha conversion turn plate is also utilized on this turn plate.

Compatable with the UMI, AC, or OEM Yamaha handle poles

TBM Racing Billet Handle Bar Clamps
(Includes Hardware)

We have finally made billet bar clamps to compliment our steering system and turn plates.   Not made from extruded aluminum as many clamps on the market, our clamps are made from one block of billet 6061.   We also include stainless hardware with our clamps rather than charging our customers a small fortune to purchase the hardware separately.   These clamps are sold as a pair and can be purchased by themselves, or as part of our sealed bearing steering system.   All clamps are black anodized.

TBM Racing Yamaha Shortened Turn Plate

Designed for the aggressive racer, freestyler, or freerider our Yamaha Shortened Turn Plate positions the rider forward on the ski for more control and maneuverability.   Our turn plate has two sets of handlebar mounting holes enabling the rider to choose between -1", or -1.5" from the stock location.   Also we incorporated a slotted and lengthened linkage arm allowing the rider to make precise adjustments to the steering ratio.   There is no need for a steering nozzle arm extender when using our turn plate, as our turn plate gives you a very aggressive steering ratio when using the added length of the linkage arm.   Our Yamaha Shortened Turn Plate is compatible with our Sealed Bearing Steering System (P/N TBM126), or the UMI Steering System.

TBM Racing OEM Replacement Turn Plate Stud

Designed to be used with our OEM Replacement Turn Plate, the stud enables you to use the forward hole in your SX-R 800 sub plate, which will relocate the pivot 1" forward from the stock location.   Note: Turn plate is not included.
